Michael J. Schneider has been practicing law since 1975 when he was admitted to the Alaska bar. He started his own firm, Mestas & Schneider, P.C., in 1978 and then went solo in 1992.

My firm is located in Anchorage, Alaska. I represent and advise clients throughout Alaska in the areas of personal injurywrongful deathaviation, maritime law, insurance law, and litigation.

I possess high academic credentials, strong community ties, and a deep commitment to success. I demonstrate the strictest personal and professional ethics. Above all, I am committed to the needs of my clients.

My firm understands that a personal injury or trauma can change a client's entire life and the legal matters that accompany the injury frequently cause additional stress and anxiety. As your legal representative, we will be aggressive advocates on your behalf and we will do everything we can to make your experience with the legal process as free from emotional and personal frustration as possible. We regularly travel to meet with clients and their families in hospitals, nursing homes, and in their homes. In addition, we are able to schedule after-hours flexible appointments with our clients. We care about our clients' recovery from their injuries as well as their legal cases and are committed to keeping our clients informed every step of the way.
