Since its founding in 1978, the Honolulu based Law Offices of Sherry P. Broder has held a reputation as a leader in personal injury, class action and other complex civil litigation. Ms. Broder has maintained an active and diverse civil litigation practice representing plaintiffs and defendants in both state and federal courts.

Never hesitant to take on a challenge, Ms. Broder has advocated for the rights and entitlements of Native Hawaiians. She is and has been the attorney for the Office of Hawaiian Affairs for the last 20 years. She has represented Native Hawaiians before the state and federal courts, including the trial courts, the Hawaii Supreme Court, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Broder's pioneering has continued in the field of human rights litigation. Sherry Broder served as class counsel for the victims of torture, summary execution and disappearance during the dictatorship of Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos in the Marcos Human Rights Litigation, and won a $2 billion verdict which is believed to be the largest personal injury verdict in U.S. history.
