Every year, millions of motorists are injured in automobile accidents, the vast majority of which are the result of the negligence of one of the drivers involved. Were you injured in an automobile accident, a motorcycle accident, or boating accident? Was the driver of the other vehicle negligent, careless or intoxicated? Our attorneys can help determine who is at fault when lives have been negatively impacted by a negligent motorist.

Having a firm grasp on Federal Law, State and Local Law, and International Law is paramount in handling these types of cases. The knowledge and ability to work with the Federal Aviation Administration (“FAA”), National Transportation Safety Board (“NTSB”), United States Aviation insurers, and State and Local Governments is no simple matter.

Bicycles have been a part of most people's lives since childhood. The first thing children are taught when learning to ride a bicycle are to wear a helmet and be cautious of their surroundings. Unfortunately, those lessens don't always prevent injury. You cannot prevent someone from drinking and driving or driving in bike lanes.

Have you or one of your family members been injured as a result of someone else's negligent, reckless or intoxicated operation of a boat or Jet Ski? Each year, boating accidents result in countless severe injuries to innocent boaters. If you have been injured by a negligent, reckless or intoxicated boat operator, you are entitled to damages for your injuries.

The FMCSA was created by our Federal Government to govern the operation of Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMV's). The Georgia Department of Public of Safety (GDPS) has adopted many of the regulations of the FMCSA and codified them into Georgia Law. Most people and even some Motor Carrier Companies are confused about which regulations apply and to certain types of vehicles and drivers.

The United States Department of Transportation (US DOT) states that in 2009 alone over three thousand (3,000) fatal accidents occurred involving CMV's, over fifty thousand (50,000) accidents with CMV's resulted in injuries, and over forty billion dollars ($40,000,000,000) can be attributed to accidents involving CMV's.

Many construction site injuries could have been avoided with proper training by providing safe working conditions, safe and properly maintained equipment, safety training. The Secretary of Labor, Hilda Solis, stated it best when she stated, "These are preventable tragedies that disable our workers, devastate our families and damage our economy."

An accident can happen in an instant. Unfortunately, distracted driving is becoming one of the fast-growing epidemics on American highways. That’s why it’s important for drivers to keep their attention focused on the roadway—not their cell phones.

The wide majority of dogs are well trained family pets, but, not every dog is trained right. The American Humane Association (AHA) estimates that 4.7 million dog bites occur in the United States each year and nearly 800,000 of those dog bits require medical attention.

The Georgia Dram Shop statute contains provisions: that hold bars and restaurants accountable for injuries caused by drunk drivers who consume alcohol at their establishments and subsequently drive. If you have been injured by a drunk driver who was over-served, you may have a claim against the bar, restaurant or establishment where he was drinking prior to the accident.

A drunk driver is always responsible for his or her own negligence but other parties including restaurants or individuals who provided alcohol to a visually intoxicated person could also held liable.

Some insurance companies are known for denying claims. Is the insurance adjuster on your case giving your claim the attention it deserves? Are you having trouble getting an appropriate settlement from an insurance carrier?

If you have been injured as a result of falling merchandise, the store may be liable if they failed to safely stock the merchandise.

Motorcyclists are more susceptible to injury due to the negligence of others. While riding a motorcycle, one must be more aware of their surroundings than those driving cars or trucks.

These injuries are often traumatic and violent leaving victims with medical expenses, mental suffering, physical pain and lost wages. Proving liability is not easy and centers on if it was foreseeable that a criminal act would occur.

Nobody deserves to be treated poorly or inhumanely, especially our aging adults. If the death or injury of loved is from the lack of proper care, training, or supervision, then our lawyers will help you prove the negligence necessary to obtain compensation for your loved one's injury or death.

A person who is hit or side swiped by a vehicle can suffer catastrophic injury, such as traumatic brain injury, paralysis, severe soft tissue injury, spinal cord injury, broken and fractured bones, disfigurement, or death.

Statistics reveal that tractor-trailers and other large trucks are much more likely to be involved in multi-vehicle crashes than passenger vehicles. Accidents caused by tractor-trailers often result in serious injuries, and sometimes fatalities, to the occupants of the automobiles involved, simply due to the heavy weight of the commercial vehicles.

Companies who introduce products into the marketplace have a responsibility to insure that their products can be safely used by consumers. If you have been injured by an unsafe product, you may have a claim against the manufacturer or seller of the product.

If a dangerous condition, such as a broken handrail, a slippery surface, or an improperly-placed hazard caused your accident, you may be entitled to legal recourse.
