RICHARD J. ROSELLI was born in Chicago, Illinois, and moved with his family to Hollywood, Florida in 1960. He graduated from Tulane University and obtained his law degree from Tulane School of Law in 1980. Richard practiced with the law firm of Krupnick, Campbell, Malone, Roselli, et al. for over 20 years until 2002 when he left the firm to create a smaller more personalized practice. He has since formed the law firm of Roselli & McNelis, P.A. in Boca Raton, Florida, where he continues to dedicate his practice to the Representation of the Injured and Their Families. Richard is a member of the College of Diplomates of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers where he served on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee for over ten years.


In 1996, he was elected President of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He has also served on the Executive Committee of the Federal Bar Association- Broward Chapter, the Board of Governors of the Broward County Trial Lawyers Association and the President’s Council of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He is a Founding Fellow of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association, a founding member of the Trial Lawyers for Public Justice Foundation, and an Advocate member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. He is also a member of the American Society of Law and Medicine and the Lawyer Pilots Bar Association. In 2009, Richard was selected as one of the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the American Trial Lawyers Association.


Richard has received many professional honors including the AL J. CONE AWARD in 1996, named after the first President and founder of the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, and past President and founder of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. He was honored for exemplary leadership by the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers in 1989, 1996 and 1998 with “Golden EAGLE Awards”. In 1995, he received the Crystal EAGLE Award,” which is the highest honor by the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers for leadership and commitment to supporting the goals of the Academy. Richard has also been inducted into the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyer’s Eagle Hall of Fame. In 1990, he was appointed by the Florida Speaker of the House to the Florida Tort Claim Study Commission. Richard has been very active politically and has served as a Trustee of the Florida Democratic Party, as well as Chairman and Trustee of the Florida Lawyers Action Group PAC. Richard is Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Civil Trial Law since 1991, and Recertified consistently since becoming  Board Certified. He has consistently received an “AV” Rating which is the highest rating of legal ability and ethics by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. He has consistently been listed in the prestigious peer reviewed book, The Best Lawyers in America, as well as, being listed in Leading American Attorneys, Florida Superlawyers, Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in the World.


Richard has achieved a national reputation through his representation of clients as lead counsel in more than ten states and as a result of over twenty five years of outstanding results in trial and by obtaining substantial settlements for his clients. He serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Nova Southeastern Shepard Broad Law Center, and is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of the Physician Assistant Program at Nova Southeastern University. Richard also served as a member of the Board of Advisors of the Physician Assistant Program at Nova Southeastern University. Richard is a frequent lecturer to trial lawyers, medical providers, and at medical and law schools. He was invited and spoke at the Institute of Medicine at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C., for the development of the published book, To Err is Human, relating to reducing medical malpractice errors. Richard served as Review Editor for Matthew Bender Publishing Company for the first edition of Florida Torts, Chapter 61, “Liability of Health Care Providers,” and Chapter 101, “Motor Vehicle Law.” Richard specializes in substantial personal injury and wrongful death cases, motor vehicle accidents, medical malpractice, air crash litigation, and product liability cases. Within the community, he is actively involved in the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, the American Paralysis Association, Florida Brain Injury Association, Family Central, St. Jude Catholic Church, Pope John Paul II H. S., Pillars Society of the Archdiocese of Palm Beach, the Florida Grand Opera , and the Boca Raton Youth Baseball Association. Richard and his wife Lisa, reside in Boca Raton, Florida, with their five children.

Lisa A. McNelis, Esq.                            

Lisa A. McNelis was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and later moved with her family to Indiana where she grew up. She graduated from the University of  Notre Dame, in  South Bend, Indiana. While attending the University of Notre Dame, Lisa also studied at the University of Innsbruck, in Austria. Lisa received  her Law Degree   from  the Nova  Southeastern University Shepard Broad  Law School.  After Law School, Lisa practiced exclusively Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Law in Ft. Lauderdale with Krupnick, Campbell, Malone, Roselli, and  became the firms’ first female  partner. After almost twenty years, Lisa left the firm to form a new personal injury lawfirm with her husband, Richard J. Roselli.  Lisa A. McNelis and  Richard J. Roselli  formed  ROSELLI & McNELIS, and opened  their  firm  in Boca Raton, Florida.  Their  new  firm was created to provide specialized representation to the injured and their families throughout Florida.

Lisa is  Board Certified by The Florida Bar in Civil Trial Law, since 1996, and has been Recertified consistently since becoming  Board Certified.  Lisa  has also received an“AV” rating,  which  is the highest rating of  legal ability and ethics by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. Lisa has been  honored to be selected and listed in Florida Superlawyers, recognizing  the top 5%  of the lawyers in the State of Florida.  She has also served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law School, where she taught Issues of Insurance Law. Lisa is a Past President of the Broward County Womens Lawyers Association, and has served on the  Board of Directors of the Academy of Florida  Trial  Lawyers.  Lisa is a member of The Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association, Federal  Bar Association,the  American Association  for Justice (formerly the Association of  Trial Lawyers of America), and Florida Justice Association (formerly the Academy of  Florida Trial Lawyers) where she served on the Board of Directors. In addition , she is a member of the Broward County Justice Association,  Palm Beach County Justice Association, and  the  Broward  County, Palm Beach County and  South County (Palm Beach) Bar Associations.  Lisa also served,  as a member and Chairperson of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee- Group 17C, and as a member and Chairperson of The Florida Bar Grievance Committee- Group 15D.

In addition  to teaching at Nova  Law School, Lisa is a frequent lecturer at legal seminars on topics including: Motor Vehicle Accident Claims, Insurance Disputes, Auto Insurance Policies, Collateral Sources, and other Trial Practice Topics. Lisa has also been active  throughout  her career within the community, and has served on the Board of  Directors of  Family Central, the Board of Directors of  Broward County Legal Aid, and on the  Board of the Notre Dame Alumni Club of Ft. Lauderdale. She is a active member of St. Jude Catholic Church & School where her five children have attended.  Lisa also has been honored with her husband, Richard, being named members of the Pillars Society of the Archdiocese of Palm Beach, and are  members of the Patron’s Circle of the Florida Grand Opera.  Lisa and her husband, Richard Roselli,  and their five children live in Boca Raton, Florida.
